✩ Chi-Chi is a unique character. She's both a domestic and a fighter, which in turns leads to her ability to be either warm and maternal or vicious and scathing at any given moment. It's obvious this dichotomy exists with only a hair's breadth between the two extremes.

★ Like Goku, she grew up alone.

At first glance, this might seem an untrue statement. After all, she was raised in what appears to be the veritable lap of luxury in the Dragon Ball world. Her father is the Ox King, feared by most who live in the shadow of his mountain; she is the Ox Princess, which also carries its own perks. Needless to say, one would expect that she would want for nothing.

But it is important to remember one key factor about Chi-Chi: she is a motherless young woman.
